Guide for International Flight Booking

PASSSPORT

BP (Book and Pay) at Once by Credit Card

You can make a credit card payment at the same time with making a booking.
The credit card holder must be the TRiP-A user account holder of the booking.
One-time payment only.
   

Bank Transfer

Bank Transfer is available only when the booking is made on weekdays (Mon-Fri).
Bank charge must be covered by a sender.
Your booking is automatically cancelled if you miss the payment due date.
A purchasing due date designated by airlines could sometimes get earlier. You get a notification if it happens.

Payment on Invoice

Your university or research institution can make a payment on invoice directly to us. It is available only when the booking is made on weekdays (Mon-Fri) and made at least two weeks before departure.
A credit check is required to use this method. Please provide required information by using a form on the confirmation email. The result is notified by email within one business day. The prescribed cancellation fee is required after your credit check is approved.

Before booking

Booking Name / Passport

  • Your booking name must be same as on your passport.
  • Please make sure of your passport validity. Many countries require at least six months of validity on your passport. We recommend you apply for a passport renewal if the validity is less than a year.

The prescribed cancellation charge is required for the cancellations due to the wrong booking name or the short of passport validity.

Visas / Electric Travel Authorities / Immigration Requirements

  • You are responsible for making sure of your immigration requirements, including visas and your passport validity.

Important

  • Please carefully read the ticket rules that are displayed at the time of booking and use the air ticket complying with airlines' booking policies. If they find their policies have been violated, they could charge some penalties on you and we accept no responsible for that.

SEARCH

Search with your conditions and select what you would like.BOOK NOW

For the air tickets that are not available to search, such as flying from overseas airport or a round-the-world ticket, please send a request from Quote Request Form.

BOOKING

  • Before completing the booking, please read the air ticket rules (change/cancellation policies) carefully, and also make sure that your booking name (same as your passport) and the selected plan are all correct.
  • The following information of all passengers is required to book: name on passport, gender, and date of birth.

Changing your name is not allowed after completing the booking.

PAYMENT

Select your preferred payment method.

The prescribed cancellation fee is required after completing the payment. (“after your credit check is approved” for Payment on Invoice.)

PREPARATION

  • You receive an email when your e-ticket is ready to download from ‘My Page.’ Please print it out for use.
  • You can request an advanced seat assignment or register your mileage number on your own through the airline website. The airline's reservation number for log in is shown on the e-ticket.

DEPARTURE

  • We recommend you check in two hours (three hours for busy seasons) before your departure. The advanced web check-in makes the boarding procedures on the departure date easy and quick.
  • Please check the latest flight schedule on your airline's website.

Change / Cancellation

  • You can find your ticket change/cancellation policies from Booking Details on ‘My Page.’
  • When you make a change/cancellation, you are required the airline's charge as well as TRiP-A's according to the change/cancellation policy. (The handling charge at the time of booking is non-refundable.)

CHANGE

Only the ticket with the condition of "change available" is allowed to change. You can find the ticket conditions at Booking Details on 'My Page.'

When you need to make a change, please send us a request by Contact form on 'My Page', by phone (075-252-2251), or by email (contact[at]trip-a.jp).
The air ticket fare could be different according to a new flight to book.
Your request is proceeded only within our business hours. (10am-5pm, closed on Sundays, Saturdays, and holidays)

CANCELLATION

To Cancel All

You can cancel your whole booking from Booking Details on 'My Page.' Please make sure of the cancellation charge shown on the same page. You are required the airline's charge as well as TRiP-A's according to the cancellation policy. (The handling charge at the time of booking is non-refundable.)
You receive a confirmation email within a couple of business days after your cancellation request has been proceeded.
Once you cancel your booking, it cannot be withdrawn.


To Cancel a Part of Your Accompanying Members

If you need to cancel a part of your members, please send us a request by the contact form on ‘My Page’, by phone (075-252-2251), or by email (contact[at]trip-a.jp).
Your request is proceeded only within our business hours. (10am-5pm, closed on Sundays, Saturdays, and holidays)

Flight Delay/Cancellation

DELAY

 Until the day before departure date

If you cannot make a transit because of the delay of your flight, please send us a request by the contact form on ‘My Page’, by phone (075-252-2251), or by email (contact[at]trip-a.jp).
Your request is proceeded only within our business hours. (10am-5pm, closed on Sundays, Saturdays, and holidays)


 On the day of departure

Please ask your airline at the airport check-in counter.

FLIGHT CANCELLATION

To rebook an alternative flight
 Until the day before departure date
Please send us a request by the contact form on ‘My Page’, by phone (075-252-2251), or by email (contact[at]trip-a.jp).
Your request is proceeded only within our business hours. (10am-5pm, closed on Sundays, Saturdays, and holidays)
 On the day of departure
We are not able to arrange your new flight. Please ask your airline at the airport check-in counter.

To cancel your ticket

See CANCELLATION for the cancellation procedures.
For flight cancellation decided by airlines, cancellation fee is normally not required. There are exceptions for non-refundable tickets.
The handling charge at the time of booking is non-refundable.
